How many real estate agents should You work with?
As a Full Service loan Officer user that is an important question.
But I think it need to be defined a little better.. How many real estate agent do I need to work with to be successful?
Successful mean generating enough income to meet or exceed your income goals.
We believe that the number is at least 30 agents with at least 5 listings each.
Isn’t that to many? why do I need 30 or more? I only need a few that work with me on a regular basis to be successful.
The short answer is that it is a number game. The 80/20 rule will apply here like it does in most things.
About 20% of the real estate agents your are involved with will be productive for you. The percentage will be consistent but the name of the agents will not be.
Life happens! Agents move, go out of business, start working with someone else through no fault of yours, and some agents will give you business forever. When it is an all of the above world you have to have enough potential business partners in place to keep your origination business thriving and growing.
Start staking a claim on your unfair share of the referrals in your market.
